The P0914SY FBM204 voltage monitoring instrument/contact sensing input module has a function of 16 DC voltage monitoring instruments or 16 contact sensors. Each channel receives a 2-wire input from a DC voltage source P0914SY FBM204 or from a contact or solid-state switch (FBM207b/FBM207c). The relevant terminal components (TAs) support discrete input signals at 60v DC, 120v AC/125v DC, or 240v AC voltage. For voltages above 60vDC, TAs have additional signal conditioning hardware to provide voltage attenuation and optical isolation.

Each discrete input is isolated from other channels and ground electricity. Use external incentives during group isolation.

This module performs the signal conversion required for the electrical input signal interface from the field sensors to the redundant module fieldbus. In addition, it also executes programs for discrete inputs, trapezoidal logic, pulse counting, and event sequences, and has configurable options for input filter time.

This module can be used as a single unit or as a redundant pair (two FBM207). When used as redundant pairs, these modules are combined to provide redundancy at the fieldbus module (FBM) level, and the field input signals are received from a common terminal component through a redundant adapter attached to the FBM motherboard.
