XYCOM 9406 Series Overview

The XYCOM 9406 belongs to the industrial automation product line of XYCOM and mainly consists of two major categories:

1. XYCOM 9406 Industrial Flat Display / Touch Panel (ACT)

Design & Protection:
Compact and lightweight, featuring a three-chamber isolation design and explosion-proof housing. It meets NEMA 4/4X standards, offering moisture-proof, dust-proof, and impact-resistant capabilities. Suitable for high-temperature, high-humidity, or dusty environments.

Display & Touch Control:
10.5-inch TFT color LCD with 800 × 480 (SVGA) resolution, supporting resistive or capacitive multi-touch operation.

Communication & Power Supply:
Built-in HART protocol with analog and digital signal output. Equipped with RS-232/RS-485 and Ethernet interfaces; powered by 24 V DC.

Other Features:
Includes reverse-polarity protection, optional I/O expansion modules, and compatibility with various PLCs and industrial PCs. Designed for direct field installation to minimize labor time and cost.

2. XYCOM 9406 Variable-Frequency Constant-Pressure Water Supply Controller

Control Core:
Built on a TI DSP + ARM dual-core processor from the U.S. and German IGBT modules. It integrates PLC functionality, supports multi-pump control, and enables RS-485 remote monitoring.

Algorithms & Functions:
An optimized PID control algorithm ensures precise water-pressure regulation. Features include pump addition/reduction control, sleep mode, timed pump rotation, and time-segment pressure adjustment.

Protection Mechanisms:
Comprehensive protections against phase loss, overcurrent, overvoltage, undervoltage, overload, and stall conditions. Also provides automatic shutdown for water shortage or high network pressure, enhancing operational safety.

Programmable I/O:
Compared to basic models, it offers more programmable I/O points and can be equipped with dedicated water-supply expansion cards.
