The PAC8000 series Ethernet Bus Interface Module (EBIM) is used to connect field I/O nodes to an Ethernet network, enabling communication for remote I/O, Modbus TCP, PROFINET, etc. This model features non-volatile (NV) storage, which retains module configuration and user parameters after a power loss.

  • Supports Modbus TCP, PROFINET, and HART Pass-through (can directly forward field HART diagnostic information)
  • Built-in non-volatile storage; automatically restores I/O configuration and fail-safe state after power loss
